Effective date: March 8, 2026
By accessing or using PlanePal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
PlanePal is a web application that helps aircraft owners and partnerships manage scheduling, flight logging, maintenance tracking, inspection compliance, cost sharing, and related record-keeping. The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist with document processing, data extraction, and analysis.
You must sign in using a Google account to use PlanePal. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your PlanePal account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You agree to use PlanePal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all data you enter into PlanePal, including flight records, maintenance logs, financial records, and uploaded documents. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
PlanePal uses AI services (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) to extract data from documents, analyze squawk reports, and provide maintenance guidance. AI-generated outputs are provided as suggestions only and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all AI-extracted data, particularly:
PlanePal is not a substitute for professional aviation maintenance advice. Always consult qualified aviation maintenance professionals for airworthiness decisions.
If you connect your Google Calendar, PlanePal will read and write calendar events related to aircraft reservations. You can disconnect your calendar at any time from Settings. We only access calendar data necessary for scheduling features.
PlanePal facilitates cost tracking and splitting between aircraft partners. PlanePal is a record-keeping tool only — it does not process payments, hold funds, or act as a financial intermediary. All financial settlements between partners occur outside of PlanePal. We are not responsible for disputes between partnership members.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DATA (INCLUDING AI-EXTRACTED DATA) WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLANEPAL AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES RELATED TO AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION DISPLAYED IN THE SERVICE, FINANCIAL DISPUTES BETWEEN PARTNERS, OR LOSS OF DATA.
We may suspend or terminate your access to PlanePal at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions regarding data ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
